Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2025
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may use the Zoxrim platform. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By using Zoxrim, you agree to use it only in ways described under "Permitted Uses" and to avoid all behaviors listed under "Prohibited Uses." Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Permitted Uses
Zoxrim is designed to help individuals, businesses, and security professionals protect themselves and their assets. The following are explicitly permitted:
- Personal and business security: Scanning URLs, domains, email addresses, files, and IP addresses that you own or have explicit authorization to analyze, in order to assess their security posture and detect threats.
- API integration: Integrating our API into your own applications, security dashboards, or automated workflows, within the rate limits of your subscription tier, to provide security services to your own users or organization.
- Security research on own assets: Using Zoxrim as part of a legitimate security research program to assess threats against infrastructure or domains that you own or have written permission to test. Documenting and responsibly disclosing any Zoxrim-specific findings via our Responsible Disclosure program.
- Educational purposes: Using the Service to learn about cybersecurity threats, explore threat intelligence concepts, or demonstrate security risks in an educational or training context, using only your own or clearly synthetic test assets.
Prohibited Uses
The following uses are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement:
- Unauthorized scanning: Submitting domains, IPs, or infrastructure for analysis that you do not own or do not have explicit written permission to assess. This includes scanning competitors' assets to gain competitive intelligence or conducting reconnaissance on potential attack targets.
- Bulk automated abuse: Using scripts, bots, or other automated tools to submit scan requests in excess of your plan's API rate limits, or creating multiple accounts to pool API quotas, or using proxies or VPN rotation to circumvent rate limiting.
- Creating fake or fraudulent accounts: Registering with false identity information, using temporary or disposable email addresses to bypass account requirements, or creating multiple accounts for a single individual to gain extra free-tier capacity.
- Redistribution of threat data: Reselling, sublicensing, or publicly redistributing threat intelligence data returned by our API or platform without express written permission from FloodHacking LLC.
- Malicious targeting: Using scan results or threat data to facilitate attacks, harassment, stalking, doxing, or any other malicious activity against individuals or organizations.
- Circumventing security controls: Attempting to probe, penetrate, or bypass any security controls, authentication mechanisms, or access controls of the Zoxrim platform itself without prior written authorization from us.
Consequences of Violations
We take AUP violations seriously. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take the following actions, at our sole discretion:
- Warning: For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a written warning by email and provide an opportunity to correct the behavior.
- Temporary suspension: For repeated violations or more serious breaches, we may suspend access to the Service for a defined period (typically 7–30 days).
- Permanent ban: For severe violations — including unauthorized scanning, malicious targeting, or circumvention of security controls — we will immediately and permanently terminate the account. All data associated with the banned account will be deleted, and any active subscription will be cancelled without refund.
- Legal action: Where violations may constitute criminal activity or cause harm to third parties, we reserve the right to report the activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities and to seek civil remedies.
We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, what constitutes a violation of this policy and what action is appropriate in response.

If you become aware of any use of the Zoxrim platform that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to our Abuse team. Include as much detail as possible, such as account identifiers, timestamps, and a description of the behavior observed.
